The Overrides.txt file allows the user to override default component settings defined in the Configuration Manager. The rule added to the Overrides.txt file below is designed to add a prefix to the PARTID Label which is placed in the isometric but is not reflected in the Bill of Materials.

The following example adds a rule in the Overrides.txt file which sets a PartID label prefix (SPT-) for a support:

RULE
		INCLUDE=IE_TYPE=CT_SUPPORT
		PARTID_PREFIX=SPT-
		PARTID_CELL=NOTE_POINTED
RULE
		INCLUDE = IE_SYMBOL=NOTE_POINTED
		COLOR = 3

Save the changes to the file. The next time you run an isometric with supports included it will display the PARTID label as shown below:

The Part ID does not include the prefix in the Bill of Materials:
